CARGILL TIEN GIANG & LONG AN BOOST OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY WITH A COMPREHENSIVE PCS SYSTEM

Cargill Vietnam’s feed production plants in Tien Giang and Long An have successfully completed an upgrade of their Process Control System (PCS), executed by DPTA. This project marks a key milestone in enhancing operational efficiency, saving energy, and reducing costs for the facilities.

Scope of the Upgrade

• Supply of a New MCC (Motor Control Center) Panel: The new MCC panel is designed with modern features to ensure operational safety and efficiency for system recovery.
• Replacement of All Control Cables: New control cables have been installed to replace the old ones, enhancing system reliability and ensuring accurate and stable signal transmission.
• Signal Integration: Signals are seamlessly connected from the MCC to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), ensuring smooth system operation.
• System Reprogramming: The system has been reprogrammed to optimize production processes and reduce energy consumption.
• Commissioning and Handover: DPTA conducted the system commissioning and officially handed it over to Cargill Tien Giang and Long An, ensuring stable and efficient operations.
• Operator Training: DPTA provided training to plant operators, ensuring they can manage and operate the new system safely and effectively.
