AERZEN, as a specialist in cement applications, has improved the pneumatic coal feeding system for the main kiln at the Holcim Plant in Colombia. The plant is located in Nobsa, a small town about a 2.5-hour drive from Bogota. With a capacity of approximately 3 million tons of cement per year, the plant holds a 12% market share in Colombia and is expected to see significant growth following the Lafarge Holcim joint venture in 2015.

The Panel PC 1200 is a compact, versatile computer with large removable storage capacity of up to 256 GB. It operates on either Windows or Linux and optimally utilizes a 4-core Intel Atom processor with up to 4 GB of RAM.

B&R introduces the Hypervisor for its automation systems. Currently, the ACOPOS P3 servo drive supports TN-S and TN-C-S systems with external grounding conductors, as well as IT systems. It also enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to reduce the number of machine variants since they no longer need isolation transformers or additional filters to use the equipment in different countries.

B&R now provides the X2X+ backbone option, which increases the performance of the X20 system by up to four times. Since all existing X20 I/O modules are compatible with X2X+, building more powerful machines only requires adding bus modules. This upgrade allows manufacturers to enhance machine capabilities without needing to replace existing components, offering a seamless and efficient path to higher performance.
